Elbrus Kennel guarantees the puppy against fatal viruses for 72 hours. These include Distemper, Parvo, and Corona. It does NOT include Coccidia and Kennel Cough which are caused by bacteria and not life threatening. 

Any noticed health issues must be reported immediately to us so we can assist and advise. This guarantee covers your puppy until 2 (two) years of age against fatal and life altering congenital and genetic diseases which adversely affect the health of the animal. This includes: severe hip and elbow dysplasia which hampers the dog’s movement and natural gait and requires surgery to correct, generalized demodectic mange (not localized), kidney and heart failure, spine, and liver problems of the severe life threatening or altering nature. If the dog dies before 2 (two) years old, the purchaser will pay to have it autopsied to ascertain reason. Only if the reason is genetic or congenital, Elbrus Kennel will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value as soon as availability permits within a year.

The purchaser is aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all payments and costs. Elbrus Kennel will not be responsible for veterinarian fees or costs. Veterinarian care including vaccines and de-worming plus regular checkups are all part of owning a puppy and small problems should be treated before escalating into bigger ones. The guarantee will not cover neglect or improper care by the purchaser. 

Purchaser agrees to feed the puppy with premium food and not allow the puppy become obese. Elbrus Kennel is not responsible for temperament issues caused by a lack of training, discipline or proper dog socializing which is determined by every dog’s personality.

Under no circumstances should the purchaser ever surrender the dog to an animal shelter! If the purchaser find him/herself where he/she cannot keep the dog, the purchaser MUST contact Elbrus Kennel immediately before taking any actions.

If the dog is involved in any kind of incident such as: biting someone, showing aggression etc, the purchaser MUST contact Elbrus Kennel immediately before making any decisions such as: euthanize the dog, surrender the dog to the animal shelter etc.  We will take the dog back – no questions asked. Every dog deserves a second chance. If the purchaser refuses to contact Elbrus Kennel immediately, Elbrus Kennel reserves full rights to take legal action against the purchaser. The purchaser will be responsible for attorneys and court filing fees.
